It happens that plans don't always work out in life. Everything is subject to change, and although it may appear improbable that things will improve, remember that there are people who are experiencing similar circumstances, and try not to become pessimistic. Since we are all human, I hope that by telling my stories, I will uplift you and bring some wisdom, humor, and light into your life.

About

Some of the best love stories come from real life—our own experiences. There’s romance, drama, twists we never saw coming, and those messy, honest moments that show just how human we are. At the end of the day, we’re all just trying to figure things out, hoping to find that kind of love where we don’t have to pretend—where someone gets us, without the masks or the act.

Now that I’m almost 40, I’ve racked up a lot of life experience, especially when it comes to love. Looking back at all the men I’ve loved, dated, or left behind… I realized I’ve got a whole love memoir living in my head. And trust me, it’s anything but boring.

Let me be clear: I’m not perfect. I’ve made my fair share of mistakes too. So to the men who put up with my flaws, my moods, and my growth spurts… thank you. Each of you taught me something, whether the lesson came with laughter, heartache, or a little chaos.

This series is for the men I loved before I truly loved myself.

Names aren’t necessary. But whether we had something brief or something deep, you might see a piece of yourself in these stories. To the women out there: life and love can be tough especially when self-doubt creeps in, fueled by a world that compares us to one another while holding us to impossible beauty standards …which constantly change, and we’re told, “We’re too much,” “too loud,” “too quiet,” “too direct,” “be ambitious,” but not “intimidating,” but also be “feminine.” but not “masculine.” And don’t even get me started on trying to be “healthy.” It’s like the system is designed for you to fail. Fresh, healthy food? Practically a luxury item. Meanwhile, junk food is dirt cheap, everywhere, and ready to sabotage your willpower at 2 a.m. So we grab what’s easy, pack on the pounds, feel awful about it—and then blame ourselves like the system wasn’t rigged from the start. But hey, that’s a whole other topic. One more obstacle we must overcome.

Anyways, so what I’ve learned is the most important relationship is the one you have with yourself; invest in you. Nurture your soul, and everything will start to shift.

So let’s begin. This isn’t about blame or shade; it’s about reflection, and here is my series I’ve started to compile… coming soon! Stay tuned! Comment Below, Which one You’d like to hear first. 🙂
