It happens that plans don't always work out in life. Everything is subject to change, and although it may appear improbable that things will improve, remember that there are people who are experiencing similar circumstances, and try not to become pessimistic. Since we are all human, I hope that by telling my stories, I will uplift you and bring some wisdom, humor, and light into your life.

There’s a unique kind of ache that comes when you realize you weren’t asking for too much- you were simply asking the wrong person.

So often we tell ourselves to be patient, to be understanding, and to give grace. We learn to shrink our needs to fit what someone else requires from us. We learn to settle for crumbs just to keep the peace—telling ourselves it’s enough, because the thought of conflict feels heavier than the hunger for what we actually deserve.

But let’s be honest, the minimum should never feel like a negotiation. When I ask for the bare minimum, what I meant is:

I only asked to be respected.

To be spoken to with care.

To be chosen, not tolerated.

To feel emotionally safe, not ignored and punished with silence.

To be met with honesty and not gaslighting.

To feel like my feelings matter and not be told I’m too sensitive.

Wanting to be seen, supported, and emotionally held is not too much.

It’s not asking for too much.
It’s asking for what love is supposed to feel like.
